"Tempore patet occulta veritas" ("Time brings forth the hidden truth") emblem printed in the book "Of prayer and meditation" written by the Spanish monk, Luis de Granada (1504-1588). The book was printed in London in 1596 and was very popular. The identical emblem was printed on the title page of Francis Bacon's "New Atlantis" (1627).
These are good words to use in the beginning of this blog. Not only do they illustrate perfectly my intention in creating this blog, they are also a homage to Sir Francis Bacon, whose works and ciphers have become a major influence in my own studies.
This blog is destined to all those who work with Gematria, that is, any kind of alpha-numeric cipher, in order to "decode the Organic Matrix of Reality". Particularly, if you know what Gematrinator is, and if you know who Derek Tikkuri and Zachary Hubbard are, then this blog is for you.
Even though my work with Gematria does not follow the same lines as the work of these authors, the fact is that many people are still unaware of where many of the ciphers they work with actually come from:
– What is the logic behind the "Francis Bacon" and "Franc Baconis" ciphers, and are they really connected to Sir Francis Bacon?
– Where did the "Jewish" cipher come from? Why do some people call it the Agrippa cipher, and others call it a Latin cipher?
– What's the "Illuminati cipher" and why is it called that way?
– What are the "ALW", "KFW" and "LCH" ciphers and who created them?
That is the kind of questions I will be going to answer in this blog. Not only that, but I will explain how I personally use those ciphers, and also what I think is the right context to use them. This is something I always give the utmost importance. I always try to use my ciphers in the right context, which is always connected to their historical origin, the context where they were originally used in, and how they were used.
This is an absolutely necessary discussion if anyone wishes to use the ciphers of Gematria. To know your tools means to know your work, and that alone can make a huge difference between an excellent decode and an arbitrary/subjective/misleading decode.
So, with the help of Reason and Understanding, let this blog be a shining light to all those who seek to know their tools, in order to more easily bring their work to perfection.
